Huge Disappointment

I love Jack Black - but not in this movie. I thought he, along with Michael Cera would be hilarious but the laughs were too few and far between to balance out the mostly horrible writing. I couldn't believe it was PG-13 with very crude humor not fitting for young teens at all. I've only walked out on a couple of movies in my entire life and this was one...I made about an hour and 5 minutes until I just gave up. Maybe a rental but not worth a ticket.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Good action...but

Is it possible for any Hollywood movie to be released that doesn't take every possible shot at my country? Between the corrupt token CIA agent, and the constant Sierra Club propaganda I wasn't sure if I was watching a Bond movie or a CNN story on America being the source of evil in the world. I LOVE movies but am at my limit with this garbage. The pro-environmentalist wacko message was completely unnecessary to prove the bad guy was really bad – evidently killing people in cold blood is not bad enough anymore - drilling for oil is much, much worse. COME ON! I hold out hope for the Vince Flynn movies - if they follow the books there will be a real American hero to cheer for. If I want overt attacks on the US, I’ll watch the network news.
