I walked into the theater thinking, "Oh joy, Zac Efron, maybe I will catch a nap". But after seeing his acting chops in 17 Again I settled in to watch at least the first 15 minutes. By the end of the movie I had cried enough to have a headache and felt the kid has got talent. The writing and directing of the film gave it depth even if the plot was a bit unbelievable ala "The 6th Sense" but all impossibilities aside, I loved the movie. 2 thumbs up.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
