To all those who think this movie might be a pitiful attempt for AEG to make money, you're wrong. This Is It is very well done. It shows Michael Jackson as the brilliant performer, the humanitarian , and the perfectionist that brought him to where he was. My husband feared this movie might have been cloying or even terrible, but he admitted that he loved it--he said it kept him riveted to the screen the entire time.
As a Michael Jackson fan myself, I truly appreciated this elegant documentary. It showcased MJ's talents, the talents of his dancers, musicians, the director--Kenny Ortega. A delight.
