We arrived at 6:00 before the 6:30 show to get good seats. We sat through ads & trivia until 7:45. By that time half the people with little children left and the others were sleeping. 30 Minutes later when the actual movie started we were all angry about the situation but Island 16 Theater in Commack did absolutely nothing.
Besides that watching the Wizard of Oz on big screen was amazing, I hope you can do it with more classic films.
Only make sure the theater makes it an enjoyable experience, especially for the kids.
