Good 3d, but NOT PG

I took 5 9 yr old girls and a 5 yr old girl. I had read that parts were a little scary so we were prepared for that, but......I (25) even jumped during some parts. The ghost of Christmas Future was ridiculously freaky especially the little children in it....reminded me of horror movies. From the start it was very dark and dismal, not like the Disney versions from my childhood. There were at least 2 "bad" words that I would not want my child saying or hearing them. And I am no saint, but...I was not prepared to hear them in a PG movie. There was a little bit of humor, but it was slight or on an adult level that children would never understand.
Okay, but not rated right in my opinion.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
