Like most Michael Moore movies it has its over the top moments. He drives an armored truck to all the bailed-out banks demanding our money back. Michael surrounds the New York Stock Exchange in crime scene tape.
However, it is a thought provoking movie. It is interesting to see the extent to which the leadership of the Catholic Church condemns capitalism as evil.
The comparisons with the auto industry in other countries is interesting. Worker co-ops might not work at a larger scale than the bakery he visits. Worker participation on company boards may be a more practical solution for large industries. He discusses this alternative too.
