Loved this movie. Complete package from acting to cinematography. Quite a departure for Scorceses ifrom recent films. Wonderful homage to early films and beautiful story line as well.
The movie felt and was filmed like a documentary. Nothing new, overall message of having to balance work and family. My daughter and I did enjoy it though
I was pleasantly surprised with performance from Matthew McConaughey, and the rest of the cast was good as well. Worth the money, and although common theme in movies, it does offer a different spin on the typical lawyer genre.
I went with my entire family, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved Bradley Cooper and DeNiro, the plot was thoughtful and well executed. Overall, worthwhile money spent and expenditure of my time!!!
I was not impressed with any part of this movie. Total waste of $20.00. Far too much rambling from Vince Vaughn. May be his thing, but it got old and uncomfortable throughout the film.
This movie engaged me from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat. Even though it had a "happy ending" so to speak, it was very well made and actually quite believable. The cast, especially Denzel Washington and Chris Pine, and were excellent.
The movie was a bit slow at the beginning, but began to pick up 1/2 way through. Definitely a very different historical perspective than we've seen up to now with this theme. Overall worth seeing,
