Not bad entertainment

I am not usually a fan of movies of this genre and went only because my husband dragged me. But I was surprised to find myself enjoying it. There were some good jokes and suspenseful scenes. I was not looking for anything cerebral, and its not a bad way to spend 2 hours in the a/c in a heatwave! I know that the acting could have been a lot worse than some of the other movies out now. The only thing i had an issue with is that the characters of color got killed first. Being someone of color myself, its nice to see representation on screen, but if its only synthetic, it makes you question whether Hollywood has any regard for America's true demographics. (And don't tell me they let the Latin American girl live! It was only because they wanted some semblance of sexual tension to keep the male viewers happy.)
SO if you want to escape from the heat and not see a bad film, Predators is it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
