No plot, no interest movie

A friend and I went to the movie at his suggestion.
We were both disappointed and several people around us left before the end.
What was the movie's point other than showing how a little spoiled brat caused all a lot of harm and finally got it in the end.
The movie could have been 15 minutes in length and gotten its point(?) across.
