I don't think this movie was as funny as I would have liked but my 9 year old daughter enjoyed the films animation. I was able to grasp the concepts of the father son relationships, the never giving up on your dreams and the nerd/being smart and girl/boy lessons but I don't think she really understood some of the lessons the movie was focused around. Overall the movie was okay.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
