Thrilling visuals, crappy plot

Director Tim Burton doesn't disappoint in his 3D visualization of the Alice tale, but he was apparently hog-tied by his corporate task-masters, who forced a "Golden Compass/Narnia/Harry Potter" teen adventure story into the mix -- ultimately spoiling the Wonder. Even the closing title song was some corporate crap, like something you'd hear on American Idol.
This was the last weekend it was supposedly showing in 3D - I guess so they can clear the projector for "Clash of the Titans." I'm going back to 2D and good cinema myself. I don't need to pay $12 for this!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
