Where the Wild Things Are

I took a 4 year old and a 5 year old to this movie. Both girls were excited about going because they had read the book. We weren't even 30 minutes into the movie and both girls wanted to leave! It is nothing like the book and was really slow---the beginning took forever and when Max finally got to the land of the wild things, it was confusing. We left. Save your money. Better yet, use the money you would have spent on the movie and go buy the book!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
