If you have an interest in human psychology, as I do, you'll probably enjoy this movie. Each of the "wild things" is a representation of a different element of the human psyche. Admittedly, they're drawn very large and made obvious, but that's why this is a wonderful children's movie, in my opinion. For youngsters (although I'd say at least 7 years or older) and adult children alike.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
