What a downer!! If you are a therapist and can convince yourself anything was accomplished or improved for these characters, by all means, take your chances. This movie was not charming, not uplifting, not beautiful, not cute, not funny AT ALL, completely depressing and just plain stupid depsite the good actors involved. And just a couple of meek glances betweem mom & son at the end and a little random snow is supposed to make us feel like our 90 minutes of pain was worth it?? The violent playtime was a horrible example for the kids this was marketed to - but no one under 20 could sit through the excruciating dullness of most of this movie, so I guess it doesn't matter.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
