I enjoyed this movie and the comparisons/lessons projected by the WildThings for Max to learn about his own behavior, but I agree with a previous reviewer, young children will not get this from the movie. I also thought that while at times disturbing, the portrayal of how hard it is to be in a family sometimes and deal with what families deal with was an interesting take on the book's simple plot; stunning cinematography, but definitely for an older audience........
Yes, I recommend this movie.
