Very Deep

This movie is not really for children. We took our five yr. old daughter and while she actually "got" the parallel between Carol and Max, the symbolism and messages throughout the film were extremely deep. I think this will be an excellent piece for say, a high-school films class. That said, the cinematography was great, the soundtrack was even better and over-all the film, to use my wife's phrase, was very heavy.
Also, Max Records' acting (especially non-verbal), was very, very impressive.
