My husband convinced me to go see a sci-fi on New Years Eve... and I am SO glad that I went! This was truly one of the BEST movies I have seen. I sent text messages to friends as I was walking out, telling them to go see it. This was also my 1st experience at an IMAX theatre. I can't imagine that seeing this any other way would surpass the experience. It was a beautiful movie, with impressive special effects; an awesome story depicting the ugliness of human greed but the beauty of nature. Just enough action to keep the boys happy but also a lovestory for the girls :-) My heartrate literally went up watching some of the battle scenes! I hope the Academy grants this one with an Oscar.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
