2 and 1/2 hours went by fast- even my 5 y/o sat through most of it w/out complaining- that is a true test whether a movie was boring or not. There are a few parts where he jumped, but over-all it wasent too scarey for him. Looking forward to seeing the 2nd part.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
