Loved the book. I thought that the movie did not accurately portray the book. I didn't like how Max had to convince the wild things to make him king. It seems as though in the book he gained the title through being "the wildest one of all". Also, when Max left the tone was so somber. I thought that Carol should have been comforted by his sister because that relationship symbolized Max's relationship with his sister. It just seemed as though he left on a negative note.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
