but an excellent rendition of the story. It was closer to the Grimm brothers original tale than the sickly-sweet depictions of Snow White. Yes, she's innocent, but she is not some little fluff-head who walks through a forest singing. She is human, she feels, and she has a destined path. The evil queen is VERY evil, and plausibly undefeatable. Go see this movie, but think twice about taking younger children, as some of the dark forest scenes are pretty intense.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.
