I always felt the Nightmare Before Christmas was the step child to the Rankin Bass Christmas specials I grew up with as a kid. In 3D, however, Director Henry Selick's direction and visual eye make it a perfect vehicle fo 3D. LIke those GAF Viewmaster kits come alive, The Nightmare Before Christmas works if only for its move to this old technology whose comeback is a welcome respite. So go ahead, buy the popcorn, sit back and watch this musical fest.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
