I agree with what another user wrote, don't view the trailer before watching the movie. As far as another user's comment that "it was so bad people were laughing" .. people were laughing because parts of the movie were genuinely funny. The "daytime" shots are funny albeit a little slow with pretty shaky camera work but the "night time" shots are enough to terrify you into not sleeping the night you watch it. Definitely try to buy your tickets online and get to the theater early to get a good seat. I liked this movie because it didn't rely on blood and gore to get the viewer scared, it relied solely on those little "bump in the night" moments that almost everyone experiences.
