My 5 year old loved this movie! She laughed and she got on the edge of her seat cheering them on! For adults, ehhhhh, it was ok, the high voices gave me a headache.
This movie was full of great morrals and lessons on hard work and determination as well as unlikely friendships! This movie has a great message for young children to dream big, but work hard for them, and dont lose sight of whats important or what you need...Love! We will be owning this movie!
Finally, another wholesome movie that is cute like Monsters Inc. was cute! No where in this movie does it send mixed or confusing messages for a kid like Astro Boy did! We will be owning this one!
Movie was an excellent revision of a great classic. The 3D was alot of fun. Although, it was a bit creepier than the older classics I have seen before. It scared my 5 year old in many different scenes. The previews made the movie look more magical and less errie, which was not the case.
The plot to this movie is a bit confusing for my 5 year old. She couldnt beleive that the boy died...she didnt grasp that Astro Boy was a robot of the boy that died, and so she was in total shock when the daddy didnt want his son anymore....she asked me if all mommies and daddy's do that! Total dissapointment. Did not keep her attention as well as other movies out right now. Action was good later at the end, but i dont think we will be owning this one!
There is nothing scarier than the world falling apart around you...This is a great movie, kept us all on the edge of our seats (literally), I cried, I screamed, i trembled. When there seems to be no hope, somehow life will prevail. A must see movie.
