If you loved the books you'll love the movie. I say that because the acting isn't great but we aren't exactly going to the movie for their acting abilities are we? Taylor Lautner did a great job with the part. The supporting cast of high schoolers was funny. They seemed to be having the most fun. The Volturri were believable as scary monsters. Alice Cullen's wardrobe was awful. She's supposed to be a fashionista but the one outfit in school looked like a maternity top from the 50's and the striped jacket in Italy was just plain hideous. Also ridiculous was the sight of Bella and Edward prancing through the forest in clothes from 1900 was just plain ridiculous. The entire theatre burst out laughing.
