This movie as a long awaited sequel was both good and bad at the same time. It was enjoyable as I vaguely remember the original when it came out and how Tron manages to destroy the evil MCP. Now it's some 20 years later. I realize that this is fanatasy and as such anything is possible. but it's supposed to be at least somewhat based in reality at the same time, or at least that's how the original went.
A couple of things bothered me in the early part of the movie. When Sam goes to his Fathers Arcade it has the appearance, as it should, of being abandoned for 20 years. Yet throw the main breaker and all of a sudden there is complete power.
From there everything was passable. I thought that the ending was nice in that it left room for yet another Sequel.
The other main problem that I had with the movie is that unless you are familiar with the storyline you could get lost very easily and not get as much enjoyment out of the movie.

I saw this film at the Imax the other day and while it was a very long film it was riveting and mindblowing ac tion from the very start until the very end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
