It was great fun. The riffing is definitely up to par. I plan to go to October's show. I liked this group of shorts, too. (I didn't "need" the old cartoon--it's my least favorite each time.) I've been to all 3 events now (there have been only 3, right?) I liked the music being played while waiting for the show to start. I had the impression the audio was slightly off-sync with the video.
I really liked the first event where we got to see Jonathon Coulton. I'd never heard of him before, and now we play two of his songs on Rockband and i've subscribed to his podcasts. I looked forward to seeing Weird Al, but his involvement was so minor that it was kind of a let-down.
Based on the info on your Rifftrax site, I submitted my proof of purchase, so to speak, and expected a winner to be announced at the show and an iPad given out, but there was no "live" person and no mention of the Rifftrax iPad. What happened there?
I would like to see this show available on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday too if possible. That way my husband could go.
