In the age of special effects and over done brutality and gore, this movie gives the genre a refreshing feel. I never felt that the motion of the camera was too burdensome on the eyes like Blair Witch. It was amazing how scared an entire theater could get over something as simple as a light turning on or how the heavy sound of unknown footsteps made my hairs stand up. The end of this movie punctuated the evening nicely. This movie was earning its money way after it ended, giving us a very uneasy night of sleep.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
