not the WORST movie I've seen, but...

Disney kinda botched this one. I've been a fan of the John Cater series ever since I read it in high school so I was excited when I heard it was becoming a film. Unfortunately, this classic sci-fi tale gets bogged down with bad dialogue, and wooden performances. The cgi looks great, and the green Tharks are rendered beautifully, in fact, the cgi aliens give us the best acting performances! With a $250 million budget you think they'd have a decent script.. Guess it all went into the CGI!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
