Our family (mom, dad, 2 boys ages 11 & 13) loved this movie. Truly well done in every way-good script, interesting characters, great voice talent and beautifully done animation.
We are fans of the Astroboy comics and were really looking forward to this movie. It exceeded all expectations! The story may be too scary for very young children-a boy is killed in an explosion early on and recreated by his scientist father as a robot-Astroboy. That said, the theater was full of little kids who seemed to enjoy the movie.
I would happily recommend this to families with kids 8 & up.
