Great message of hope, superb acting

1) If you want comedy, stick to that genre. This is DRAMA for a reason
2) When going to see this movie LEAVE CHILDREN (small restless kids, infants, crying babies) AT HOME
3) Understand that while the conditions Precious lived under exist in the real world, they are not the prototype for all African Americans' experiences no matter how many parallels one can draw between her life and someone else's of a similar background--SO STOP JUDGING PEOPLE
4) This is a MOVIE, not a documentary, and therefore should not be expected to be all things to all people (see also #3)
