I was very skeptical about this movie when I first read about it last year. However, as a Star Trek fan, I can honeslty say it was wonderful. It wove the old Star Trek and the new information it presented together to virtual perfection. I wanted to watch it again as soon as it ended.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have not read the book, and I could follow along pretty well. There were some things I may not have appreciated as much if my daughter had not filled me in. The plot was good, the actors were good. It moved along slowly, but I think that helped build some of the suspense. My only problem was with the makeup. I think they could have done a much better job. The actors did not look extra pale, they looked painted white.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
