I saw Twilight yesterday afternoon. I am 44 yr old mom to a 13 yr old. I read all of the books. I agree, if you haven't read the books, parts of this movie may not make sense. I thought it moved a bit slowly at first, but really picked up about halfway through. There was so much detail of the book that they had to leave out of the movie - I would've loved to see them develop Bella & Jacob's relationship more, and to see more of Alice. Also, at times, the Cullens' makeup seemed to be a bit much. Overall, as a lover of the books, I thought it was good!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
