Clever, funny, no need for the R rating

The screenwriter kept this story of white collar crime perpertrated by a compulsive liar interesting and amusing by having the main character narrate his thoughts. The viewers' connnection with Mark is well developed and by the end of the film as the lies are unraveling, I found myself begging Mark not to tell another one, not to dig the hole deeper. I have no idea why the movie has an R rating. There is no s-e-x and the language is not extreme.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
