It took awhile for this film to find it's legs ... was it going to be a quirky teen flick, a goofy comedy, a family comedy etc? But by the third act, everything came together nicely, and I found myself wanting more. It's a great first effort from Drew Barrymore with an all-star cast.
The film is also a great introduction to life in Austin! It made me miss my time there, and long to come back. I'll never forget the time I was run off the stage of a karaoke bar by a bunch of rollergirls ...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
