Funny, feel good, coming of age flick

I couldn't help being reminded of another very funny film with Ellen Page, Juno (obviously), but this was also delightfully diiferent, with a nice dark side of roller derby culture. An excellent choice for cast, and an impressive directorial debut for Drew Barrymore! I'd recommend it to all my female friends, and do agree that guys who like action flicks or horror movies primarily, are not going to love this. (Another reviewer, who admitted not being the target audience for this film still gave it 3 out of 5 stars, so it has to be generally good for most adults.)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
