Great adaptation of the comic book. Thor was a childhood hero and I was apprehensive about this movie, but it did not dissappoint!! Thor's personality was a little more reckless than I imagined but otherwise a good characterization. Special effects were good. The story line may be a bit confusing if you are not a familiar with the Thor story but entertaining anyway. Some characters not in the comic are introducted but they are good additions. Heroes, gods, morality, villains and humor...a great movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have been a Hulk fan since the comic book came out in 1962. I had now expectations of this movie based on the TV series and the previous movie attempt. Also, Edward Norton was not my vision of Bruce Banner. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with this rendition. Norton was great as Banner and the story was great. The personalities of other characters such as the professor and the general were very entertaining. The story was aimed at a more adult audience except for the animated fight sequence at the end which I thought went on for longer than it needed to be. This sequence seemed aimed a younger audience. Nonetheless, if you are a Hulk fan (or even if you're not) the movie is well done, well written and very entertaining.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
