Fame without a story

Fame was a great movie! i absolutely LOVED the dancing, the costumes, the singing, the music being played, and i loved the scene in the beginning where they start making music and singing in the cafeteria! The only thing i did not like about fame was it jumped between highschool years without giving much information. You never really go into depth about any of the characters, you see the problem...but you never see what happens afterwards OR the resolution to the problem. Technically There isn't even a real story line to the movie because it jumps from character to character (which is fine) except that you don't know much about any of them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
