Entertaining but shallow

Not nearly as good as the original. Acting was decent, but I wish they would have stayed in the school more--subplots diverged a bit too much. My child goes to a performing arts school, so her peers thought it was fun. Think of it on the same level as "High School Musical" or the new TV show, "Glee."
Yes, I recommend this movie.
