Brilliant book adaptation

New Moon is not my favorite of the 4 Twilight books. I can't handle the brooding angst of the adolescent doormat Bella. Well the movie delivers the tortured soul of the human Bella, but offers enough character interaction that it's bearable for the audience. I love the characters in the book and the movie brought more life to each one. No one will win an oscar for their performances, however for Twilight fans it is brilliant. I hope the director for Eclipse takes stock in Chris Weitz's movie and expands even more on the characters who were given a little bit more personality and/or introduced in this movie. The ONLY bad thing about this movie is that it ended.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
