With all the press and the releasing of clips for New Moon prior to the premiere I was very excited and expected greatest from this movie. I was not let down! I can not begin to explain how happy I am with the new director. I think he did a great job of being true to the book along with uping the standards of the movie. Yes, I'm sure the increase in budget did help him out quite a bit. The new effect were awesome. I loved the way the vampires ran, the wolves were amazing, and the cullen's new eye color was perfect. The only big complaint I have with the movie is that I'm afraid people who have not read the book might not be able to keep up with what was going on and they might get bored. The plot did seen slow in some spots for non fans.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I find Twilight to be a good intro into the Twilight Saga. Considering the low budget I found the effects and production quality of the movie satisfactory. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the directors choices for the film but over all I enjoy the movie and certainly have watched it quite a few times :)
