I still like Why Did I Get Married the best but this was a decent movie. It would be better if my fiancee would stop trying to make me see this each time we drive by the movies. We have seen this twice already. Once on the day it came out and then the very next morning. It ain't THAT good. But I did enjoy it.
The chick sitting next to me, (not my date) cried the whole movie. I wanted to take her by the hand and tell her to put her head in my lap. My date liked this movie because there was no intercourse in it. (Coming from a woman, I guess that's to be expected). I think a little intercourse would have spiced this up a bit. At least someone would have been happy. Overall, not a bad movie -- I mean, if you like to see men crying. From where do they find all these guys that cry? Come to think of it, I don't think a single woman cried in this movie! What in the world is that all about????
The negative reviews on this website may influence your decision to watch the whole movie. I almost walked out twice based on what I read. I waited. Was it worth the wait? Let me put it like this; this is a movie lover's movie. If you liked Russell Crowe in The Insider, well, this is no Insider. But it could have been. Catch Me If You Can? Yes, that's a good comparison, but this is no CMIYC. In a nutshell, this movie did not get interesting until the end. William H. Macy would have been a better selection for this movie. He usually plays these type roles. Should you go see it? That's a tough question. I went early in the morning, it cost $6 and I had some free time. I guess it was at least worth watching the previews of upcoming movies.
