Awesome 3D Effects

I took my 7 year old and 4 year old niece and nephew. They seemed to like most of it; but both were asking, "Is it almost over?", "Is it time to go home yet?".... The glasses were way too big for the 4 year old, therefore he watched most of the blurred movie without the 3D effects. He would have been better off in the cheaper, non-3D version. The 4 year old giggled at several parts and I laughed at many parts that neither of them understood. I didn't think the monkey throwing poo* was funny, but I thought the whole theme of the movie was excellent, though nothing like the award-winning book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
