I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me!

Went to see the movie with my husband and 13 year old son on Father's Day. LOVED IT! I worry with a sequel (especially a third) that it's just a money grub attempt. How can it be fresh and interesting? Well, the folks who do the animation prove once again that they are the best. The toys truly look and act human, it's hard to believe they are not real. The story is fresh and the addition of several new characters enhances the whole thing. I laughed out loud several times, chuckled lots and got teary-eyed in several spots. I think I would have been sobbing like a baby if I had been at home! My son made fun of me!
Like all really good animated stories, this one works for all ages. Run, don't walk, to see this in the theaters. Wonderful film.

Excellent casting for major characters people remember from the series. Folks familiar with the series will enjoy seeing the roots of those characters while people who aren't familiar (kids) can see a good action movie. Time travel plot gets a little confusing (and reminds me of Lost) but it's a great summer action flick.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
