I was certain it was going to be painful for me to sit through this footage. His passing was such a shocking and overwhelming blow for me. But it was so well put together, I never got the impression that he was under any more pressure than usual as he worked to compose the spectacle he wanted his fans to witness one more time. Always the loyal fanatic, I supported this man in all his influential output, but rarely got to see just how involved he truly was in his product. I can honestly say that I now respect him as much as I've ever loved him as a musician, an artist, the absolute greatest entertainer that ever lived. And no doubt, the best was yet to come.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
