New Moon was phenomenal! Chris Weitz does an amazing job, from the opening credits to the very last scene; it follows the book very closely, much to my delight! The suspense was intense and the CG effects were spectacular! The chemistry between Edward and Bella was as forceful as ever, and Jacob's transformation is exactly as expected. Although a few scenes are added that were not in the book, they do nothing if not add depth and action to the plot. While I wish there was a way to incorporate more of the minor details, Chris Weitz's New Moon was the most accurately depicted film interpretation I could have hoped for. I give it a 10, and can't wait to watch it again and again!
