It is what it is . . . . another teen romance movie only this time with aliens (as opposed to werewolves and vampires). I enjoy good scifi movies, but this was more teen romance than scifi oriented and would have made a "somewhat" decent tv movie. The ending was exciting and worth watching . . . however, getting to the ending was painful. I would pass and watch on dvd. Not necessary for IMax. Question- If he was number 4 and she was number 6 . . . .who and where was number 5? The dog!?! . . . omg!! - I smell a sequel!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Great movie with some fantastic actors. Bruce Willis is at the top of his game . . . supported by Morgan Freeman and Helen Miran . . .This movie is a true delight and exciting to watch. John Malkovich is great and should have an emmy nomination.
Amazing special effects . . . If you want to experience the artistic and creative talent of the writer/director, Cameron, catch this mind expanding adventure. After the experience, I thought that the movie should have been named "Dances with Navi's", but upon further consideration, I realize that the story is the classic American "exploitation" of the native indigenants with a twist of creating an entirely new indigenous species - with their own religion , language, customs and look. Kudos to Cameron . . . he's done it again!
