I was worried that it would be hard to buy into a "love triangle" with a fairly theatrically inexperienced Taylor Lautner. Sure he's cute, but could he pull off the romantic tension that the book had? Absolutely! Not only had he prepared physically for the role, but he showed an emotional depth I was unprepared for. A poor performance would have killed the movie; likewise, his beautiful performance made the movie more than I had hoped for. It's been out a day, and I've already seen it twice.....
Yes, I recommend this movie.
