How can two oscar winners perform so badly in one film? The dialogue, if one would call it that, was shallow and forced. The plot or story line was disconnected, and any character attachment was distant. The music was light and pleasant. My wife and I almost dozed off during many parts fo the movie. Save money by renting when it comes out in dvd at the Red Box.
Indy was worth the money. Fast paced, funny, but a little uneven. Harrison Ford was "reliable" in the role. Supporting cast was also steady. Pic almost took on a "Star Wars" meets "Boris and Natashia" feel. Nothing noteworthy cinematically, but worth the price of admission. I recommend this family rated movie to every one. Don't wait until DVD because one will not get full adventure effect.
A very enjoyable movie with a few laugh out loud moments. An obvious story line, but cute and innocent . A fun movie to take your mind off the rigors of the week. Although I gave it only three stars, I enjoyed it. Raunchy language, not recommended for kids (although there were a few in the audience).
I hope that George Clooney refrains from directing any more movies. One could not tell whether it was suppose to be "camp", slapstick, romantic comedy or what? Half way through the movie, I turned to my wife and questioned as to whether I could get a reund. It was tired, boring and lacked any direction. Please avoid.
