Of course it made me laugh, but it filled me with so much emotion I uncontrollably cried throughout the whole movie. From the singing to the subject content, Tyler Perry touched evey emotion I had. Thank you, I needed to see this-- and so should everyone else.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
