I think it was one of his best films yet. I really enjoyed the comedy, the tear-jerker moments, and the love story. I really appreciated no fornication especially since it was centered around a church.
I also liked that the female youth looked like a regular kid, not glammed up. I could picture seeing her around town. Smart move!
